FAQ
A plain text format for lyrics with chords, used by many apps for musicians. Chords sit in square brackets exactly where they change, for example [G]How great is our [D]God.
Your first song is free with every new account. After that you buy a pack of credits, one credit per song: the bigger the pack, the less each song costs. No subscription and no auto-renewal.
Both. The lyrics are transcribed from the audio and each chord is placed above the syllable where it changes, so you get a complete chord sheet, not just a chord progression.
MP3, M4A, WAV, AAC, OGG, FLAC and video too (MP4, MOV), up to 15 minutes and 200 MB. A phone recording from rehearsal works as well. One file per song.
PraiseTune, where you can transpose it, project it and add it to a setlist, and any app that reads ChordPro, like OnSong and SongbookPro. It's plain text, so any text editor opens it too.
The transcription is automatic and does most of the work for you, but it's worth listening again and fixing a few spots. The PraiseTune editor makes that quick.
Usually a few minutes. When many requests come in at once your song waits its turn: you can close the page and come back later.
We tell you why and refund the credit automatically. It mostly happens with very noisy recordings: try another recording of the same song.
No. They stay on your account until you use them. If you need a refund for a purchase, email us within 14 days at support@praisetune.com.
We only use it for the conversion and delete it from our servers as soon as the song is ready. We keep the ChordPro so you can find it in your list.
Transpose it, project it, add it to a setlist
Open the file in PraiseTune: edit it, transpose it in one tap and share it with your band.
