I’ve always been good with computers. I knew how to tinker, how to find a solution. But one question never left me alone: what use can all of this be to God?

It seemed useful for work, sure. But completely useless for serving Him.

The problems I saw every Sunday

Meanwhile, I was playing at church. And as time went on, I noticed problems everywhere: messy sheet music, wrong keys, hours wasted trying to sort everything out. And every time I’d wonder: “why does it have to be this complicated?”

Anyone who starts playing faces a thousand obstacles. They can’t find lyrics, they don’t know where to begin. I saw all of this and felt that something had to change.

The idea before God

So I started thinking about it seriously. I brought the idea before God. And the more I worked on it, the more I realized that maybe computer science could be my way of serving.

After 4 years, many ideas and much prayer, PraiseTune was born.

What I didn’t expect

Today I hear people say “this app changed my life.” And every time, it moves me.

Because God takes what you thought was useless and uses it for His glory. So that our service can be simpler, more effective, and centered on what truly matters: worship.
